Bull bars, made in Brisbane

Aluminium bull bars manufactured at our Seventeen Mile Rocks workshop, made to suit your make and model, ADR certified and airbag compatible.

Compliance is not an optional extra

A bull bar sits in front of the sensors and crumple structure the vehicle relies on in a collision. Get that wrong and the consequence is not cosmetic. That is why our bars are built to meet the Australian Design Rules and are airbag compatible, rather than treated as a styling part that happens to be bolted to the front.

We manufacture from 6061-T6 aluminium, CNC laser cut and MIG welded in our own workshop. Aluminium keeps weight off the front axle, which protects your payload and your steering and suspension, and it does not corrode the way steel does in the Queensland climate.

Every bar is made to suit a specific make and model. If we do not already have a pattern for your vehicle, we can build for it, which is the part most suppliers cannot offer.

Thirty years of it, in one workshop

Allbar has been manufacturing vehicle products in Brisbane for over 30 years, and we are a member of the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association. The bars are designed, engineered and made here rather than imported and rebranded.

That matters to you in a practical way. When something needs adjusting, or you want a bar built for a vehicle nobody makes one for, you are dealing with the people who own the tooling and the drawings. There is no supplier in another country to wait on.

What to have ready when you call

The make, model and year of the vehicle, and whether it already has anything on the front. If you have a winch, driving lights or an aerial in mind, mention them now, because tabs and mounts are far easier to build in than to add later.

Ring (07) 3279 6422 or send through photos and we will tell you what suits. If a nudge bar would do the job you actually need at a fraction of the cost, we would rather tell you that than sell you a bull bar.

Common questions

Are your bull bars airbag compatible?
Our bull bars are made to meet the Australian Design Rules and are airbag compatible. That matters because a bar that interferes with how the vehicle senses an impact can stop the airbags behaving as designed, which is both a safety problem and a compliance one.
Will a bull bar affect my insurance or rego?
A bar that meets ADR and is fitted properly is a normal accessory. Problems come from non compliant bars and poor fitting. If you are unsure, ask your insurer directly, and tell them the bar is ADR certified.
Aluminium or steel?
Aluminium is lighter, which matters for payload, front axle load and fuel, and it does not rust. Steel takes a heavier hit. Most people driving on road and gravel are better off with alloy, and we will say so if that is the honest answer for your use.
Do you make bars for trucks as well as utes?
Yes. Alongside the ute range we build bars for trucks, and that work is usually custom rather than off a shelf. See our truck bull bars page or call us with the make and model.
