Truck work is custom work
Utes are largely a solved problem. Trucks are not. The spread of bumper shapes, chassis rails, lighting positions and cab configurations across makes means a bar built for one truck usually will not transfer to another, even within the same brand.
So we treat truck bars as custom fabrication. We work from your vehicle, its mounting points and the clearances it actually has, and build the bar around that. If we have done your make before we will use what we learned, but the bar is still made for your truck.
That is only possible because the tooling, the drawings and the welders are all in one workshop in Brisbane. There is no importer to ask and no lead time waiting on a container.
Weight, and why alloy earns its place
On a heavy vehicle the front axle limit is usually the binding constraint, and a steel bar spends a meaningful part of it before you have carried anything. Aluminium gets that weight back, which shows up either as payload or as margin against your steer axle rating.
We fabricate from 6061-T6 aluminium, CNC laser cut and MIG welded. Alloy also does not corrode the way steel does, which matters more on a vehicle you intend to keep working for a decade than on something traded in three years.

The workshop is at 13 Hasp St, Seventeen Mile Rocks, and we have been manufacturing here for over 30 years. If the honest answer is that what you want is not worth building, we will say so.
Common questions
- Do you build for a specific truck, or is it off the shelf?
- Truck work is almost always built for the vehicle. There is far more variation between trucks than between utes, and the mounting, bumper and lighting differ enough that a generic bar rarely suits. Tell us the make, model and year and what is on the front already.
- Which makes have you built for?
- We build for the makes running around Brisbane, including Kenworth, Volvo, Isuzu and Hino among others. If yours is not one we have done before, that is not a problem, it just means we work from your vehicle rather than an existing pattern.
- Why aluminium on a truck?
- Weight on the front axle is the constraint on a lot of heavy vehicles, and every kilo on the bar is a kilo off what you can legally carry or a kilo working against your steer axle limit. Alloy also does not rust out, which matters over the life of a truck.
- Can you build in lights, aerials and a rated recovery point?
- Tell us before we start. Tabs, mounts and clearances are straightforward to design in and awkward to retrofit. If you need a rated recovery point, say so explicitly, because rated and welded on are not the same thing.
